Toronto Star - Chef alleges cruiser video shows police brutality

In early April, 2010, Toronto Chef, Raymond Costain, was brutally assaulted by Toronto Police while being placed under arrest for drunk driving. During the incident, Officer Christian Dobbs attempted to take control of Mr. Costain and forced him to the ground where he continued to punch the applicant numerous times about the head, while forcing his face into the pavement at least 12 times. Toronto Criminal Lawyer, Leora Shemesh, intends to show video caught by a police cruiser dash camera to provincial court Justice Ford Clements to support her defendants claims of police brutality and have the charges stayed. The trial for Raymond Costain resumes in June, 2011.
