Ms. Heather Curtis obtained her Honours BA in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Carleton University in 2003. She went on to complete her Law Clerk diploma from Seneca College in 2006. During her education, Ms Curtis volunteered as a parole officer first assisting with group meetings in Ottawa, and after moving to Toronto, took on her own case load of female parolees, conducting home visits and pre-sentence reports. Ms Curtis has always had a keen interest and passion for the criminal justice system. She began her career working at CCJS analyzing crime statistics. Ms Curtis has worked at a number of top criminal law firms and finally found one that provided a challenging and fulfilling work environment.
